Hythe Cinema

Hythe Cinema is every third Tuesday of the month in Hythe & Dibden Parish hall, West St., Hythe SO45 6AA.

The Hythe Cinema (Moviola) was established in 2005 in response to the community highlighting they would like access to a cinema. In partnership with Moviola, the cinema started in September of that year.

The films are shown in high definition Blu-ray and stereo sound on a large screen at The Parish Hall. The cinema has purchased blackout blinds and best quality conference chairs to enhance the experience. Film days are sociable, informal events, a short film, and trailers followed by an intermission for tea, coffee and New Forest Ice Cream before the main feature. Friends often meet for lunch beforehand or come from some distance and enjoy Hythe first.
