Message from Chairman of the Parish Council - Malcolm Wade
Dear Residents of Hythe and Dibden in these unprecedented and difficult times I wish to reassure you that Hampshire County Council continues its business as usual policy for the critical areas of its services such as social care and highways. New Forest District Council is doing the same and so is Hythe and Dibden Parish Council, who are examining new ways the Parish council can help our community during the current crisis. There will be community hubs set up by a combination of local authorities to help those on the list of vulnerable people more of which will be advised later this week. There are many people in our community, who are helping out those that need it, volunteers for whom I cannot pay tribute to enough.
It is a challenging time for all of us and we are certainly all in this crisis together. We must help each other as much as social distancing and the situation will allow. As a community, we are stronger working like this and we will get through this.
As your County Councillor and a councillor on the other local councils if you have any concerns or issues regarding council services in the current crisis please email me on email@example.com and I will see if I can either help or get the answers from someone, who can.
